Antique Faturan Bakelite Necklace 85.77g Dark Cherry Amber Mahogany Rarity Vintage

Rare, original Faturan Bakelite necklace from around 1920–1950 .
Made of solid Bakelite (phenolic resin) in a rich dark red-brown mahogany color with a slight transparent shimmer.
This color and patina are created exclusively through decades of natural aging and are typical of early Faturan pieces.

The necklace has a total length of approximately 69 cm and a weight of 85.77 g – a clear indication of solid Bakelite and not a lightweight plastic imitation.
The beads are hand-turned, slightly oval (approx. 1.8 × 1.3 cm) and separated by smaller spacer beads (approx. 0.5 × 0.8 cm).
The decorative end piece is solidly crafted and shows the craftsmanship of this period.
