This museum-quality brooch, dating from around 1860 to 1900 at the latest, combines artisanal perfection with natural elegance. The oval butterscotch amber with a warm honey hue is adorned with a vibrant pink-violet rhodolite garnet at its center, artfully set in a classic prong setting. The piece is exceptionally well preserved and testifies to the finest goldsmithing of the late Biedermeier period or early Wilhelminian period. The back, with its typical C-hook clasp, underscores its originality and authenticity. Such a combination of color, quality, and form is extremely rare. A truly unique piece for collectors, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs.
